To enhance the quality of academic and administrative performance of the institution and to ensure significant growth and achievements in all aspects of the institution.
Mission
- Ensure periodic assessment of teaching–learning, research and extension activities.
- Promote a conducive environment for quality teaching and learning.
- Facilitate faculty to adopt knowledge and technology for participatory teaching.
- Develop institutional database and documentation for quality improvement.
- Collaborate with stakeholders for quality evaluation, promotion and sustenance.
- Inculcate a research culture among staff and students.
- Motivate departments to organize interdisciplinary Seminars, Conferences and Workshops.
Functions of IQAC
Development and application of quality benchmarks/parameters for academic and administrative activities.
Dissemination of information on various quality parameters of higher education.
Organization of workshops, seminars on quality related themes and promotion of quality circles.
Documentation of various programmes / activities leading to quality improvement.
Acting as a nodal agency of the institution for quality-related activities.
Preparation of the Annual Quality Assurance Report (AQAR) to be submitted to NAAC.
Composition of IQAC
- Chairperson : Head of the Institution
- Teachers to represent all levels (Three to Eight)
- One member from the Management
- Few senior administrative officers
- One nominee each from local society, Students and Alumni
- One nominee each from Employers / Industrialists / Stakeholders
- One senior teacher as the Co-ordinator / Director of the IQAC
The AQAR reviews and promotes all spheres of academic activities. The IQAC of the college has student members, enabling students to take part in quality assurance.
